Consultancy contents on State management responsibility for food safety of provincial-level People's Committees

     Article 41 of Decree No. 15/2018 / ND-CP guiding food safety law stipulates State management responsibilities for food safety of provincial people's committees as follows:

    First: Implement the state management of food safety in the local area, be responsible to the Government for food safety in the locality. Presidents of provincial-level People's Committees shall directly perform the task of the head of the inter-branch steering committee for food hygiene and safety in provinces and centrally-run cities; To take initiative in organizing the inspection, supervision and supervision of food safety in their respective localities; To direct and regularly urge and inspect the observance of the food safety law by lower-level State agencies; To handle irresponsible cadres and civil servants, to loosen the management in the domains assigned to them for management; To organize the settlement of complaints and denunciations, handle violations of the law on food safety according to the provisions of law; To be responsible to the Government and the law for the occurrence of violations of the law on food safety in the locality.

     Second: Implement the regulations of the Government, ministries and sectors on food safety in the area.

     Third: Organizing and administering the inter-branch steering committee for food hygiene and safety in provinces and centrally-run cities.

     Fourth: Organize the propagation and mobilization of the implementation of the law provisions on food safety in the locality.

 

    Fifth: Arranging resources for specialized agencies to implement state management of food safety.

    Friday: Responsible for food safety management in the area; To manage food safety assurance conditions for small food production and trading establishments, street food, business establishments, food service and food safety services in local markets and the objects according to the management hierarchy.

    Seventh: Develop and promulgate local technical regulations on food safety for local food products.

    Eighth: Organizing the receipt and management of dossiers, granting of certificates of registration of product publications, certificates of advertising contents for medical nutritional products, food for special diets , nutritional products for children up to 36 months of age.

     Ninth: The organization receives the product self-declaration; Certification of food safety eligibility as assigned or decentralized.
